Wild n' Wacky Egg Hunt

Join us for the Wild n' Wacky Egg Hunt at Buccaneer Bay on March 30, 2024. Don't forget to bring your own basket and wear your swimsuit! This event is included in the price of general park admission. Goodies are given out at the end of each hunt!

2023 Winter Waterland

The Friends of Weeki Wachee Springs State Park proudly presents, Winter Waterland! The event took place on December 15 from 6-10 PM and December 22 from 6-10PM. Take a festive stroll through the park, lit up with holiday lights, sure to get you in the holiday spirit. The galley restaurant will be open, along with the gift shop for your holiday shopping needs.

Holiday Lights Display

The event will take place December 6th and 7th from 6-9 PM. The entrance fee is only $6 per person (plus event fee). Children two and under are free. Florida State Park passes are not applicable for this event. Take a festive stroll through the park, lit up with holiday lights, sure to get you in the holiday spirit. The galley restaurant will be open, along with the gift shop for your holiday shopping needs.

2024 Turkey Paddle

Join us for our Second Annual Turkey Paddle! Wear your best Turkey Outfit and join us on the river to start your holiday off right. Burn off that pumpkin pie and paddle on the beautiful Weeki Wachee River!

2024 Earth Day

Bring rinsed plastic bottles, and cans for our hoop challenge, and receive stickers! We will also have some tables for arts and crafts. Guests can color and decorate what would have been trash, and turn it into art they can take home, showing off the art of recycling! Make mermaids, animals, trinket containers, origami book marks, cardboard canvas painting, or anything you can imagine. The event is taking place across the field from the mermaid theater.
