READY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Join us as we celebrate NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY

National Public Land Day

OUR GOALS:
Remove invasive plants along the Weeki Wachee River, and
provide maintenance of the Park’s landscaped areas by weeding, trimming, and planting native trees or shrubs.

Volunteers are provided breakfast snacks, bottled water, and lunch. You are free to enjoy the park after work stops at noon. (Think – BUCCANEER BAY — oh yes!!) So don’t forget your swimsuit and towel! Students under 18 are required to provide a permission slip signed by the parent or guardian. Credit for “Bright Futures” and graduation-required volunteer hours are given. Any adult may also participate.

2024 National Public Land Day Dates will be announced soon!
