Volunteer at Friends of WEEKI WACHEE

Friends have MANY volunteer opportunities for all types of skills, talents, and interests, no matter what your skill level. Below is a list of the types of volunteers we need. If a particular need arises, we will email our members and volunteers to seek out those that are interested in getting involved in a specific project or in using their unique skills.

Volunteers are not considered to be employees of the State of Florida. Your volunteer performance will be evaluated. The contents of the Florida Park Service Volunteer Handbook can be found online: http://floridastateparks.org.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF FRIENDS TO VOLUNTEER!

All volunteers are required to complete two DEP State Park Volunteer forms: Florida State Parks Volunteer Application and Florida State Parks Volunteer Agreement. Friends or Park staff oversee all activities.
